Geologist Dean Enderlin, Tebow's 4th cousin once removed, told the New York Times he has traced their ancestry to Andries Tibout, an ethnic Walloon from the modern-day Belgian region of Wallonia, who immigrated from Bruges to New York in 1686 (some sources state Andries's father moved his family to New York after Andries was born). Prior to entering the real estate business, Gannon attended Duke University, and then played four years in the National Football League. Despite not playing baseball since high school, in 2016 Tebow advised all Major League Baseball (MLB) clubs that he was available and interested in playing he was eventually signed by the New York Mets to a minor league contract, and after playing the 2017 season with several minor league clubs, is now looking to progress upwards in 2018.
